PRIVACY POLICY

EFFECTIVE JULY 7, 2026

The Feed Machine ("we," "us") is operated by Sarah Larae Creative, Chattanooga, Tennessee. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the promises we make about your photos.

THE SHORT VERSION

  • We never use your photos for anything except making your content. No marketing, no demos, no AI training, no portfolio use, nothing, unless you give us explicit written consent first.
  • Your photos auto-delete 45 days after your content is delivered. We are not a backup service; you always keep your originals. We delete the convenience of the link, not your photos.
  • We collect the minimum needed to run the service: your email, your gallery links or uploads, your brand preferences, and payment through Stripe.

WHAT WE COLLECT

Account information. Your email address (used for passwordless sign-in links), Instagram handle, and the brand and style preferences you give us.

Your photos and footage. Photos you upload or link from Google Drive, Dropbox, or a gallery platform, plus any behind-the-scenes video clips you provide. We store web-resolution copies in private cloud storage.

Free preview leads. If you try the free preview, we collect the email you enter to unlock your results, and we may send you follow-up emails about the product. Unsubscribe anytime.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Basic usage data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used for security and to keep the service running.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your photos and information for exactly one purpose: generating and delivering your social media content. That includes analyzing your photos with an AI vision model to select, arrange, and caption posts; rendering video clips into Reels; building your posting calendar and delivery files; and sending you sign-in links, delivery notices, and optional posting reminders.

YOUR PHOTOS: OUR CONSENT PROMISE

We will not use your photos for any purpose other than providing the service to you without your explicit written consent. Specifically, without that consent we will never: use your photos in our marketing, advertising, demos, or examples; share your photos with any third party except the service providers listed below (who process them only on our instructions); use your photos to train AI models; or display your photos publicly anywhere.

Our AI provider processes your photos to generate your content and does not use them to train its models.

PHOTOS OF OTHER PEOPLE

Most photos you upload contain your clients and their guests. You, the photographer, are responsible for having the rights and consents needed to upload those photos for processing (see our Terms of Service). We process them only on your instructions. If you appear in a photo processed by our service and want it removed, email us and we will delete it.

HOW LONG WE KEEP THINGS

  • Uploaded photos and footage: deleted 45 days after your content month is delivered. That covers your 30-day posting calendar plus a 15-day grace period. After that, download links stop working and the copies are erased from our storage. Your original photos are never touched; they stay wherever they live.
  • Generated content (captions, calendars, rendered Reels): same 45-day window.
  • Free preview uploads: download links expire after 24 hours; stored copies are deleted within 45 days.
  • Account information: kept while your account is active; deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
  • Payment records: kept as long as required for tax and accounting law.

You can request earlier deletion of anything, anytime, by emailing us.

WHO WE SHARE DATA WITH

Only the providers that make the service work, and only so they can do their specific job: Vercel (hosts the app), Supabase (private photo and data storage), Anthropic (AI analysis of photos and caption writing), Shotstack (renders video Reels), Stripe (payment processing), and ActiveCampaign (email delivery and follow-ups). We never sell your data. We never share it with advertisers.

SECURITY

Photos are stored in private buckets, never public. Access is scoped per account and enforced at the storage level, and file links are signed and expiring. All traffic is encrypted in transit.

YOUR RIGHTS

Email us to access, correct, or delete your data, or to close your account. We respond within 30 days. California and EU/UK residents may have additional rights under CCPA and GDPR; the same email is the way to exercise them.

CHILDREN

The service is for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. Photos you upload may include minors (family sessions, weddings); consent for those is your responsibility as the photographer, per our Terms.

CHANGES

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email account holders before it takes effect.
